FrameMaker Help is a reference guide to FrameMaker commands Kand dialog boxes. If you re using quick menus, some of the items described -in Help will not be available on your menus. EBalloon Help is available for System 7 users only. It provides brief 7descriptions of document window controls and palettes. JFor conceptual information, topic overviews, and detailed instructions on [completing tasks, see the printed manual Using FrameMaker If you re a Ynew user, read Getting Started first. Then use Balloon Help for information Xon document window controls. After you become familiar with FrameMaker Tuse FrameMaker Help to look up detailed information on a particular ra command or dialog box. You can get help on any FrameMaker command or dialog box by using one of the following: 0Contains two Help commands. This menu is on the n left side of the menu bar. Displays the Help Main Menu from which you can choose a topic. Context-Sensitive Help Changes the insertion point wi 4to a question mark. You can click the question mark 4on the document window border, or on any dialog box le *or menu, to get information on that item. Moreom *Contains several Help commands. This menu 2appears on the right side of the menu bar only if re using System About Balloon Help Displays a dialog box that $describes how to use Balloon Help. 5Show/Hide Balloons Turns Balloon Help on or off. o 4With Balloon Help on, FrameMaker displays a 2description of a document window control when you point to it. FrameMaker Help Displays the Help Main Menu. 7Click a topic in the Main Menu to display help on that h topic. Context-Sensitive Help Changes the insertion point 4to a question mark. Topic Submenus 3Click a topic on the Main Menu and Help displays a 3submenu of related topics on the right side of the elp 2Help window. Click the submenu topic on which you 2want information. A topic submenu is available on 2every Help page, and a blue pointer lets you know ,your current location in Help at all times. Index 1Click the Index button at the bottom of any Help . 8screen. The Help Index is an alphabetic list of topics. 9Click the letter at the top of the window to display the 8topics beginning with that letter. Then click the topic on which you want information. Underlined Words >Click derlined words in text to move to related topics. Moreof Buttons 7Click the buttons at the bottom of each Help screen to to navigate through Help.
